Website and enquiries
Terms and Quote Conditions
These terms explain how the ForgeKeys AU website, reference builds, quote process, artwork, and approved orders are handled.
Effective 16 July 2026 · Last updated 16 July 2026A website enquiry is not a paid order. Scope, parts, proof, timing, price, delivery, and any deposit are confirmed in writing before sourcing or production begins.
1. Scope of these terms
These terms apply when you browse this website, use the 3D preview, submit material, or request a ForgeKeys AU quote. A written quote, invoice, proof approval, or order confirmation may add project-specific details. If there is an inconsistency, the project-specific document applies to that order to the extent permitted by law.
Website examples and 3D previews show design direction only. They are not a promise that a particular part, colour, layout, material, finish, or price is available until confirmed in writing.
2. Quotes, orders, and payment
- A quote request is an invitation for us to review your project, not an acceptance of an order.
- An order is accepted only when the final scope is confirmed in writing and any required payment or deposit has cleared.
- Prices, taxes, delivery charges, payment stages, and quote validity are shown on the approved quote or invoice.
- Do not send money using details from an old quote or an unverified message. Payment instructions are provided only for an approved quote.
- Sourcing or production begins only after the stated approvals and payment stage are complete.
Changes requested after approval may affect cost, availability, and timing. We will confirm any material change before proceeding.
3. Reference builds and third-party parts
Some photographs and build references show genuine third-party or customer-provided keyboards, keycaps, switches, cables, or accessories. Unless expressly stated, ForgeKeys AU is not affiliated with or endorsed by those brands. Brand names and marks remain the property of their owners.
Availability, specifications, colours, and supplier pricing can change. We confirm the actual proposed parts and source before an order proceeds. Substitutions require your approval when they materially change the agreed build.
For goods or services supplied by ForgeKeys AU, contact us first if a problem occurs. We may use a supplier or manufacturer assessment process, but we will not require you to pursue an overseas manufacturer instead of raising the issue with us.
4. Artwork and intellectual property
You keep ownership of original material you submit. By submitting it, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it and grant ForgeKeys AU a limited licence to store, review, adapt, preview, quote, and, after order approval, provide it to relevant production partners for your project.
You must not submit material that is unlawful, misleading, abusive, or infringes another person's copyright, trade mark, privacy, publicity, or other rights. We may decline or pause work where rights or production suitability are unclear.
ForgeKeys AU retains rights in the website, branding, original templates, production methods, and design work we create, except where a written order says otherwise. Customer artwork and completed work are not used publicly as a portfolio or advertisement without separate permission.
5. Problems and Australian consumer rights
Our goods and services come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms removes, restricts, or changes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If supplied goods or services have a problem, do not match the agreed description, or were not provided with due care and skill, contact ForgeKeys AU with the quote or order reference and clear photographs or details. The available remedy may include repair, replacement, refund, cancellation, re-performance, or another remedy depending on the circumstances and the law.
A change-of-mind request is different from a claim about a fault or failure. The process for custom order changes and cancellation is explained in the Custom Order Policy.
6. Website availability and acceptable use
You may use the website for genuine personal or business enquiries. You must not attempt to bypass upload limits, access another customer's files, disrupt the service, submit malicious files, scrape private areas, or use the service for unlawful activity.
We aim to keep the website and 3D preview available, but they may be changed, suspended, or unavailable. Save your own original artwork. A browser preview is not a factory-ready production file and should not be treated as colour-accurate manufacturing approval.
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia and the applicable state or territory. Before starting a formal dispute, both sides should first try to resolve the issue using the contact details connected with the quote.
